【摘要】:Sincethepotentialforexpansion,underconditionsofcontrolledrestraint,ofconcretemadewithshrinkage-compensatingcementcannotalwaysbesatisfactorilypredictedfromtestsofmortarsmadeinaccordancewithTestMethodC806,aneedhasbeenrecognizedforatestmethodinwhichconcretespecimensaretested.Thistestmethodcanalsobeadaptedreadilytostudiesofexpansioninvolvingdegreesofrestraint,comparisonsofcements,effectsofcementcontents,mixtureproportions,schedules,orenvironmentaltreatmentsthatdifferfromthestandardproceduresprescribedbythistestmethod.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationoftheexpansionofconcretemadewithshrinkage-compensatingcement.1.2ThevaluesstatedineitherSIunitsorinch-poundunitsaretoberegardedseparatelyasstandard.Thevaluesstatedineachsystemmaynotbeexactequivalents;therefore,eachsystemshallbeusedindependentlyoftheother.Combiningvaluesfromthetwosystemsmayresultinnon-conformancewiththestandard.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.(Warningx2014;Freshhydrauliccementitiousmixturesarecausticandmaycausechemicalburnstoskinandtissueuponprolongedexposure.)
