【摘要】:Theflashpointtemperatureisonemeasureofthetendencyofthetestspecimentoformaflammablemixturewithairundercontrolledlaboratoryconditions.Itisonlyoneofanumberofpropertieswhichmustbeconsideredinassessingtheoverallflammabilityhazardofamaterial.Flashpointisusedinshippingandsafetyregulationstodefineflammableandcombustiblematerialsandforclassificationpurposes.Thisdefinitionmayvaryfromregulationtoregulation.Consulttheparticularregulationinvolvedforprecisedefinitionsoftheseclassifications.Thistestmethodcanbeusedtomeasureanddescribethepropertiesofmaterialsinresponsetoheatandanignitionsourceundercontrolledlaboratoryconditionsandshallnotbeusedtodescribeorappraisethefirehazardorfireriskofmaterialsunderactualfireconditions.However,resultsofthistestmethodmaybeusedaselementsofafireriskassessment,whichtakesintoaccountallofthefactorswhicharepertinenttoanassessmentofthefirehazardofaparticularenduse.Flashpointcanalsoindicatethepossiblepresenceofhighlyvolatileandflammablematerialsinarelativelynonvolatileornonflammablematerial,suchasthecontaminationoflubricatingoilsbysmallamountsofdieselfuelorgasoline.ThistestmethodwasdesignedtobemoresensitivetopotentialcontaminationthanTestMethodD6450.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationoftheflashpointoffuels,lubeoils,solventsandotherliquidsbyacontinuouslyclosedcuptesterutilizingaspecimensizeof2mL,cupsizeof7mL,withaheatingrateof2.5x00B0;Cperminute.1.1.1Apparatusrequiringaspecimensizeof1mL,cupsizeof4mL,andaheatingrateof5.5x00B0;CperminutemustberunaccordingtoTestMethodD6450.1.2Thisflashpointtestmethodisadynamicmethodanddependsondefiniteratesoftemperatureincrease.Itisoneofthemanyflashpointtestmethodsavailableandeveryflashpointtestmethod,includingthisone,isanempiricalmethod.Note18212;Flashpointvaluesarenotaconstantphysicalchemicalpropertyofmaterialstested.Theyareafunctionoftheapparatusdesign,theconditionoftheapparatusused,andtheoperationalprocedurecarriedout.Flashpointcan,therefore,onlybedefinedintermsofastandardtestmethodandnogeneralvalidcorrelationcanbeguaranteedbetweenresultsobtainedbydifferenttestmethodsorwheredifferenttestapparatusisspecified.1.3Thistestmethodutilizesaclosedbutunsealedcupwithairinjectedintothetestchamber.1.4Thistestmethodissuitablefortestingsampleswithaflashpointfrom35to225x00B0;C.Note28212;Flashpointdeterminationsbelow35x00B0;Candabove225x00B0;Cmaybeperformed;however,theprecisionhasnotbeendeterminedbelowandabovethesetemperatures.1.5Iftheuserx2019;sspecificationrequiresadefinedflashpointmethodotherthanthismethod,neitherthismethodnoranyothertestmethodshouldbesubstitutedfortheprescribedtestmethodwithoutobtainingcomparativedataandanagreementfromthespecifier.1.6ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Nootherunitsofmeasurementareincludedinthisstand......
