【摘要】:Thistestprovidesaccuratedataforevaluationoftheopticalpropertiesoftheglassbeinginspected.Theproceduredescribedisusefulformeasuringtherollwaveintroducedduringthetemperingprocessofflatarchitecturalglass.(1)5.3Thistestmethodisalsousefulforinspectionoflaminatedandtemperedautomotiveglassintransmittedlight,inbothflatandcurvedgeometries.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationofopticaldistortionofheat-strengthenedandfullytemperedarchitecturalglasssubstrateswhichhavebeenprocessedinaheatcontrolledcontinuousoroscillatingconveyanceoven.SeeSpecificationsC1036andC1048fordiscussionofthecharacteristicsofglasssoprocessed.Inthistestmethodthereflectedimageofprocessedglassisphotographedandthephotographicimageanalyzedtoquantifythedistortionduetosurfacewaviness.Thetestmethodisalsousefultoquantifyopticaldistortionobservedintransmittedlightinlaminatedglassassemblies.1.2ThevaluesstatedineitherSIunitsorinch-poundunitsareregardedseparatelyasstandard.Thevaluesstatedineachsystemmaynotbeexactequivalents;therefore,eachsystemshallbeusedindependentlyoftheother.Combiningvaluesfromthetwosystemsmayresultinnonconformancewiththestandard.1.3ThereisnoknownISOequivalenttothisstandard.1.4Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.

【摘要】:Thistestmethodisusefulforrapididentificationofwaterbornepetroleumoilsamplesaswellasoilsamplesobtainedfromfuelorstoragetanks,orfromsand,vegetation,orothersubstrates.Thistestmethodisapplicabletoweatheredandunweatheredneatoilsamples.Theunknownoilisidentifiedthroughthecomparisonofthefluorescencespectrumoftheoilwiththespectra(obtainedatsimilarinstrumentalsettingsonthesameinstrument)ofpossiblesourcesamples.Amatchoftheentirespectrumbetweentheunknownandpossiblesourcesampleindicatesacommonsource.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthecomparisonofwaterbornepetroleumoilswithoilsfrompossiblesourcesbymeansoffluorescencespectroscopy().Usefulreferencesforthistestmethodinclude:()and()forfluorescenceanalysisingeneraland(),(),and()foroilspillidentificationincludingfluorescence.1.2Thistestmethodisapplicabletocrudeorrefinedpetroleumproducts,foranysampleofneatoil,waterborneoil,orsampleofoil-soakedmaterial.Unlessthesamplesarecollectedsoonafterthespilloccurs,itisnotrecommendedthatvolatilefuelssuchasgasoline,kerosine,andNo.1fueloilsbeanalyzedbythistestmethod,becausetheirfluorescencesignatureschangerapidlywithweathering.SomeNo.2fueloilsandlightcrudeoilsmayonlybeidentifiableupto2daysweathering,orless,dependingontheseverityofweathering.Ingeneral,samplesweatheredupto1weekmaybeidentified,althoughlongerperiodsofweatheringmaybetoleratedforheavyresidualoils,oilweatheredunderArcticconditions,oroilthathasbeenprotectedfromweatheringbycollectinginathicklayer.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
