【摘要】:Gasdischargetubes(GDTs)areusedforapplicationsupto1000Va.c.or1500Vd.c.incommunicationorsignallingcircuits.Theyaredefinedasagap,orseriesofgaps,inanencloseddischargemediumotherthanair.Theyaredesignedtoprotectapparatusorpersonnel,orboth,fromhightransientvoltages.Thisstandarddoesnotspecifyrequirementsapplicabletocompletesurgeprotectivedevices,nordoesitspecifytotalrequirementsforGDTsemployedwithinelectronicdevices,whereprecisecoordinationbetweenGDTperformanceandsurgeprotectivedevicewithstandcapabilityishighlycritical.ThispartofIEC61643-dealswithGDTshavingtwoorthreeelectrodes;-doesnotdealwithmountingsandtheireffectonGDTcharacteristics.CharacteristicsgivenapplysolelytoGDTsmountedinthewaysdescribedforthetests;-doesnotdealwithmechanicaldimensions;-doesnotdealwithqualityassurancerequirements;-maynotbesufficientforGDTsusedonhigh-frequencyormulti-channelsystems;-doesnotdealwithelectrostaticvoltages;-doesnotdealwithGDTsconnectedinserieswithvoltage-dependentresistorsinordertolimitfollow-oncurrentsinelectricalpowersystems;-doesnotdealwithhybridorcompositeGDTdevices.
